Day 1: Arica / Las Cuevas / Las Vicuñas National Reserve / Salar de Surire / Arica
Departure from your lodging or hotel at 06:30 hrs. Direct transfer to the Las Cuevas area, where we will have the possibility of doing a small trekking and observing a spectacular panoramic view of the environment, we enter the Ancochalloani Pampa, it stands out with a beautiful background of the Payachatas Volcanoes, later we begin our journey to the Las National Reserve. Vicuñas, visiting beautiful highland places above 4,000 meters of altitude such as the Town of Ancuta and its small chapel. Visit to the town of Guallatire and its 17th century church, built of stone and clay, in front of which rises the imposing Guallatire Volcano, still active in the highlands. On the way it is possible to observe vicuñas, llamas, ñandúes and vizcachas, while in the flora the wild straw, llaretas and the bofedales stand out. We will be arriving at noon at a magical and incomparable destination in the North of Chile, the amazing Salar de Surire (4,245 masl) where we will enjoy an admirable landscape where blue and white mix, an interesting paradise for bird watching, surrounded by three species of flamingos that make it one of the unmissable settings for photography lovers. The return to the City of Arica is estimated at 20:00 hrs.
